Count Room Rep

Job Summary:
Countsmoney from the Pit Operations (table games) drop boxes. Provides Pit handle. Counts money from Bill Validators (slot machines.) Counts money from all outlets.
EssentialJob Functions:
Sorts,counts, and records contents of table game drop boxes, bill changers andcurrency drop boxes, according to set procedures.
Comparesinformation contained in drop boxes to data stored on computer terminal.
Responsible for daily reports, minor repairs and maintenance of soft countequipment.
Performsduties as assigned, always presenting oneself as a credit to Harrah's andencourages others to do the same.
Meets theattendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental andcompany policies.
Physical,Mental & Environmental Demands:
Must beable to maneuver in and around all count rooms.
Must beable to push, pull carts and carry up to 75 pounds of boxes filled withcurrency.
Must beable to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch and pick-up money dropped on floor.
Must beable to grip objects and have good finger movement when counting and handlingcurrency.
Must beable to differentiate denominations of chips and authenticity of currency.
Must be ableto stand for extended periods of time.
Must beable to operate a computer, ten key adding machine and Sortmaster (moneycounter).

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
